St. Augustine has one college team to follow and two day trips for the pros. Flagler College plays at a gym in Old City and at an athletics complex on Old Moultrie Road. Jacksonville and Ponte Vedra Beach are the day trips.
Flagler games and food
Flagler Gymnasium hosts basketball and volleyball on Granada Street. Cafe Alcazar sits across the street and lists lunch daily. Nonna's Trattoria lists dinner every night.
Saints Field, Drysdale Field, Flagler Field and the lacrosse field share the complex off Old Moultrie Road. Plan to drive there. The BoatHouse and Grouper Shack are on the Nix Boat Yard waterfront, less than half a mile away in a straight line.
Summer baseball
The St. Augustine Sardines play wooden-bat baseball in June and July at St. Joseph Academy. Asado Life and the Fire & Smoke BBQ truck are about half a mile away in a straight line.
Day trips to the pros
Jacksonville is about 36 miles north of Old City in a straight line. It has EverBank Stadium, VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena and VyStar Ballpark. Use the BellyUp! Jax guide for food near them. TPC Sawgrass hosts THE PLAYERS Championship each March.
